To be able to use the radio, you must
fi rst tune in to the radio stations you
want to store and then store them on
programme numbers of their own.
You can change the programme
number of your radio station any
time – also without being in the
process of tuning.
You can store up to 60 radio stations
and if you like, you can give them a
short name which you choose
yourself. Please refer to Name radio
stations for further information.

Using the radio

Presetting radio stations

Letting the BeoSound 9000 tune in your
radio stations, ensures that you get all
available stations. Once you have found a
radio station, you can fi ne tune it, if the
reception is poor.

Press to turn on the
radio
TUNE
Press to start the tuning
function
AM/FM
Press to select AM or
FM, switches from one
to the other, check
display for an indication
of which one you have
chosen

Press to search for a
p
radio station up or
down the frequency
band
OK
Press to accept the
station you have found
P.NO.
Press to change the
displayed programme
number

Press to select a
p
programme number –
up or down
OK
Press to store your new
STORED
radio programme –
STORED appears in the
display

between mono and stereo sound on radio programs,

Clearing presets

If you want to cancel one of your radio
presets, you can do so using the CLEAR
function.

Press to turn on the
radio

Press to search for a

programme number
CLEAR
Press to clear the
programme
OK
Press to confi rm the
clearing of the radio
programme
CLEARED
CLEARED will appear in
the display
