The edit function enables you to
program series of tracks for your
individual CDs and store them
permanently. Editing a CD means
that you include or exclude each track
on the CD while scanning it as
described to the right.
The fi rst 15 seconds of each track on
the CD will be played. On the display
the track number you are currently
playing will appear. During this 15-
second playback, you must include
the particular track into the series or
exclude the track. As soon as you
press either button, the next track on
the CD starts playing*.
*NOTE! If you do not choose whether you want to
include or exclude a track within the 15 second
playback, the CD player will include the track
automatically. If you choose to leave EDITING
before you have scanned, accepted or excluded all
the tracks on the CD, the remaining tracks will be
regarded as excluded from the track series.

must start playing the CD.

Enable or disable playback of a
track series
Whenever you load an edited CD, only the
selected tracks will be played. These are
played in numerical order. However, you can
choose to listen to the entire CD. You can also
delete the series of tracks you have made, to
always play the CD in full.

EDIT Press twice to play a CD
EDIT OFF in full and cancel EDIT –
EDIT OFF appears
If you cancel the edit function while an edited CD
is playing, all tracks beyond the current track
number will be played. The EDIT function remains
ON until you cancel it – even in stand-by.
