To identify connectors for external devices

The diagrams below show your computer's connectors for external devices and for the
port replicator.
Locating connectors on the computer
1. Universal serial bus (USB) port.
2. AC adapter jack.
3. Two USB ports.
4. LAN port.
5. PS/2 keyboard or PS/2 mouse port.
6. Parallel port (LPT1). Use this port for a parallel printer or other parallel device.
7. External monitor port.
8. S-video port.
