8.4 Parts Replacement Procedure

8.4.1 Fixing Unit

8.4.1.1 Preparation for Removing Fixing Assembly

i-SENSYS MF4150 / i-SENSYS MF4140 / i-SENSYS MF4120 /
1) Remove the front cover.
2) Remove the right cover.
3) Remove the left cover.
4) Remove the rear cover.
5) Remove the control panel.
6) Remove the cartridge cover.
7) Remove the upper cover.

8.4.1.2 Removing Fixing Assembly

i-SENSYS MF4150 / i-SENSYS MF4140 / i-SENSYS MF4120 /
1) Unhook the 2 claws [1], and remove the fixing guide [2].
2) Disconnect the 5 connectors [1] on the left side, and remove the cable [2]
from the cable guide.
3) Disconnect the connector [1], and remove the cable (white) [2] from the
cable guide.
4) Unhook the 3 claws [1], and remove the delivery sensor [2].

5) Remove the 3 screws [1], and remove the fixing assembly [2].

8.4.2 Fixing Film Unit

8.4.2.1 Preparation for Removing Fixing Film Unit

i-SENSYS MF4150 / i-SENSYS MF4140 / i-SENSYS MF4120 /
1) Remove the front cover.
2) Remove the right cover.
3) Remove the left cover.
4) Remove the rear cover.
5) Remove the control panel.
6) Remove the cartridge cover.
7) Remove the fixing assembly.

8.4.2.2 Removing Fixing Film Unit

i-SENSYS MF4150 / i-SENSYS MF4140 / i-SENSYS MF4120 /
1) Free the cable [1] from the cable guide [2].
2) Remove the 2 screws [1], and detach the fixing cover [2] by opening it in
the direction of the arrow.
