B. Attaching the Exhaust Hose : Fig 2.
1.∙∙ T wist∙the∙two∙Hose∙Connectors∙onto∙the∙two∙ends∙of∙the∙Exhaust∙Hose.
2. Slide the square Hose Connector into the slots over the openings at the rear of the air conditioner; the other
(free)∙end∙will∙be∙connected∙once∙the∙Window∙Kit∙is∙installed.
b. connecting to the window Kit : Fig 3.
1. Place the Sliding Window Kit in the window near which the air
conditioner∙will∙operate,∙then∙slide∙it∙out∙as∙far∙as∙it∙can∙(see∙
diagram∙above∙for∙expansion∙range∙of∙the∙Window∙Kit∙in∙vertical-
sliding∙and∙horizontal-sliding∙windows).
2. Slide the window so that there is no gap between the window and
the∙Window∙Kit∙(this∙is∙important∙to∙prevent∙outside∙air∙from∙
entering∙the∙room).
3.∙∙ F inally,∙attach∙the∙free∙end∙of∙the∙Exhaust∙Hose∙into∙the∙gap∙in∙the∙
Window Kit.
