2.9 - Attaching Drive Cables

Attaching Serial ATA Cables
S7053 is equipped with 6 Serial ATA (SATA) channels. Connections for the
drives are very simple. There is no need to set Master/Slave jumpers on SATA
drives. If you are in need of SATA/SAS cables or power adapters please contact
your place of purchase.

Caution: Adequate system airflow is required to ensure SAS controller and
attached drives work properly. It is the responsibility of the system builder to
ensure adequate system airflow by choosing the correct chassis and system
components.
