This appliance is designed for domestic and
not industrial use.

been permanently installed; see Installation".
Use the appliance for processing normal
household quantities of food; see Recipes"
chapter on Page 8.
The appliance is maintenance free.
Please keep the Instructions for Use in a safe
place. If passing on the appliance to a third
party, always include the Instructions for use.

Connect and operate the appliance only in
accordance with the specification on the rating
plate.
Do NOT use if the cord or appliance is
damaged.
Keep children away from the appliance.
To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing
a damaged cord, should only be carried out
by our customer service.
Warning!
Do not store/fit any electrical or
moisture sensitive equipment in the cupboard
under the built in appliance. The filter under
the appliance must never be obstructed. The
filter must be accessible for cleaning
purposes.
Warning!
NEVER retract the rotary switch while the
appliance is operating. Before retracting
the rotary switch, always set to O/off.
Polarized Plug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other), as a safety feature to
reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug is
intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician to replace the obsolete
outlet. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature.

1 Rotary switch
To extend the rotary switch, press and
release.
O/off
= Stop
M
= Quick action switch
Settings 1-4 = Operating speed
Setting 1
= Lowest speed - slow
Setting 4
= Maximum speed -
To retract the rotary switch, set to O/off,
press and slowly release.
2 ON/OFF display
Illuminates while the appliance is operating.
Flashes if the electronic monitoring system
has been actuated; see Troubleshooting".
3 Auto Mono Drive
One attachment position for all speed
ranges. Automatic connection of particular
accessory to the correct coupling.
4 Lid
To remove the lid, press on the rubber and
release. The rotary switch extends and
raises the lid.
When the appliance is not in use, attach the
lid. Retract the rotary switch beforehand.

Attach and rotate as far as possible in an
anti clockwise direction (bayonet lock).
