1 Blender
Attach and rotate as far as possible in an
anti clockwise direction (bayonet lock).
2 Lid
Attach and lock in position by rotating in
an anti clockwise direction.
3 Refill opening
Remove the funnel and add more
ingredients.
4 Funnel
Add more liquid.
Operating the appliance
Before using the blender for the first time,
clean thoroughly; see Cleaning and servicing
the appliance".
d Risk of injury from sharp blender
blades!
NEVER put fingers in the attached blender.
Before operating the appliance, tighten the
blender blade and attach the lid.
d Risk of scalding!
If hot liquids are processed, steam escapes
through the funnel in the lid.
Add a max. 0.5 litres / 18 fl oz of hot liquid.
Blending
S Attach the blender (1) and rotate as far as
possible in an anti clockwise direction.
S Add ingredients; see recipe.
Maximum capacity of liquid =
1.5 litres / 2 ¾ pt (frothing or hot liquids
= max. 0.5 litres / 18 fl oz).
Optimum processing quantity of solid
ingredients = 125 g / 4 ½ oz.
S Attach the lid (2) and lock into position by
rotating in an anti clockwise direction.
S Select the desired setting with the rotary
switch; see recipe.
After blending
S Set the rotary switch to O/off.
S Rotate the blender as far as possible in a
clockwise direction and remove.
S Rotate the lid in a clockwise direction and
remove.
It is recommended to clean the blender
immediately after use; see Cleaning and
servicing the appliance".
Adding more ingredients
S Set the rotary switch to O/off (or as
indicated in the recipe).
S Remove the lid and add the ingredients
or
S remove the funnel and gradually add solid
ingredients through the refill opening (3)
or
S pour liquid through the funnel (4).

d Risk of injury from sharp blender
blades!
Do NOT touch the blender blades with
bare hands. Clean with a brush.
Warning!
Surfaces may be damaged.
Do NOT use abrasive cleaning agents.
S Blender jug, blender blade for the stainless
steel blender, lid and funnel are
dishwasher safe.
The knob on the blender blade may
discolour in the dishwasher. This will not
impair the function of the blender blade.
S Do NOT clean the blender blades for the
plastic blender in the dishwasher, but under
running water (do NOT soak in water as the
bearing grease will leach out).
Tip: Pour a little water and detergent into the
attached blender. Switch to Setting M for
several seconds. Pour out the water, remove
the blender blade and rinse in clean water.
Clean the blender jug in the dishwasher.
