The certifi cation plate (See fi g. 1.6.1) located near
the helm indicates maximum weight and number
of persons your boat can handle under calm sea
conditions. Do not exceed the load capacities
stated. The number of people on board must be
reduced if you go out in poor weather and rough
water.
The information present on the certifi cation plate
does not relieve the operator from responsibility. Use
common sense and sound judgement when placing
equipment and/or passengers in your boat.
Do not load to capacity in poor weather or rough
water.
The number of seats does not indicate how
many people a boat can carry in poor weather
and rough water.
Above idle speed, all passengers must be
seated on the seats provided.

ROPELLERS
®
Your Sea Ray
has been equipped with a propeller
which our tests have shown to be the best suited for
general use with our engine under normal conditions
and load. Do not change the pitch of your propeller
without getting your dealer's recommendations fi rst.
If you change to a different propeller pitch, under no
circumstances use a propeller which allows the
engine to operate at higher than recommended
RPM. (your engine manual specifi es the maximum
recommended RPM).
To maintain rated power, propellers should be
free of nicks, excessive pitting and any distortions
that alter them from their original design. Badly
damaged propellers should be replaced, but those
that are chipped, bent or merely out of shape can
be reconditioned by your marine dealer.
It is advisable to carry an extra propeller aboard in
case you damage the one in use.
