Your boat comes with several warranties. Each com-
po nent and/or system on your boat has its own war-
ran ty that will be found with the specifi c in for ma tion
and manual for that component. These are included
with your Owner's Manual Packet. Locate and read
the individual warranties; then put them together for
easy future reference. The Sea Ray

DENTIFICATION
The "Hull Identifi cation Number" located on the
star board side of the transom, is the most important
iden ti fy ing factor and must be included in all cor re -
spon dence and orders. Failure to include it creates
de lays. Also of vital importance are the engine serial
num bers and part numbers when writing about or
or der ing parts for your engine. Refer to the Engine
Op er a tor's Manual for locations of engine serial
num bers and record them for future reference.

ANUFACTURER
As a boat manufacturer, Sea Ray builds their
products to guidelines established under the Fed-
eral Boat Safety Act of 1971. The Act is promul-
gated by the United States Coast Guard who has
authority to enforce these laws on boat manufac-
turers that sell products in the United States. Sea
Ray ensures that all of its products comply with
these laws.
The NMMA, National Marine Manufacturers As-
sociation, provides Sea Ray with a third party
certifi cation. The NMMA is an organization that
represents the marine industry and assists manu-
facturers, boat dealers, marinas, repair yards
and component suppliers in areas of legislation,
environmental concerns, marine business growth
and state and federal government agency inter-
action. The third party certifi cation that Sea Ray
participates in, uses the well know Standards and
Recommended Practices of the ABYC, American
Boat and Yacht Council.
Sea Ray Boats participates extensively in the
American Boat and Yacht Council which is a non-
profi t organization that develops and publishes
voluntary standards and recommended practices
for boat and equipment design, construction,
service and repair. We utilize all applicable ABYC
standards in the construction of your Sea Ray
boat.
Finally, Sea Ray sells their products world wide
and as such must conform to the various rules
and regulations required by other countries.
Most notably, are the ISO standards in Europe
which require the application of the CE (Com-
mon European) mark. This mark, much like the
NMMA certifi cation here in the US, gives you the
boat owner specifi c information concerning your
craft. For more on this, turn to Section 1 • Safety,
subsections 8 and 13 which explains in detail the
CE plate and its importance.
