The Alarms menu

Highlight the Alarm icon and press the enter button. The Alarm menu will appear. The Alarm menu contains
the following menus:
•

Notification

• Silent Alarm
• Alarm Inputs and Outputs
Notification
Use this menu to assign the listed incidences to a specific output (Buzzer, Email, TCP/IP, Alarm Output 1-4).

Description
When a hard disk failure is detected.
When a hard disk is at capacity.
When a network failure is detected.
When a fan failure is detected.
On shutdown a flag is set to indicate successful shutdown. If no flag is detected at bootup,
power failure is assumed.
Three repeated login failures locks the unit for 30 minutes and sends a notification.
