Doppler effect
W
ith some Command Stations, simultaneously pressing the HORN and F6 buttons will
cause the horn to shut off instead of causing a Doppler shift effect.
If you experience intermittent and independent horn signal interruption or unexpected
Doppler shifts, you may choose to disable the automatic Doppler shift (CV 51.2).

Manual volume adjustment

V
olume can be adjusted manually using the volume control in the tender, or digitally using
the programming methods described in the programming sections of this manual. Follow
these steps to adjust the volume.
1. Remove the roof-top hatch by pulling it straight up from the locomotive's
roof. Refer to Figure 2.
2. Using the included volume control tool, turn the manual volume control
clockwise to increase volume, counterclockwise to decrease the volume.
