To adjust, lift the top of the sliding portion of the footplate and slide up or down. The numbers 1-6 represent a guideline from which the proper length can be determined.

Note that the rower handle should be resting on top of the tank (as shown in step 2) for the bungee hole to line up. Thread new Bungee Cord through and pull until knotted end is held securely in the slot.
