Focus and Brightness (Exposure) Settings

Taking Pictures with Manual Focus

Applicable modes:
Use this function when you want to fix the focus or when the distance between the lens
and the subject is determined and you do not want to activate Auto Focus.

Set the focus mode lever to [MF].

Set the manual ring selector switch to [FOCUS].

Press 2 (

Press 3/4/2/1 to determine the area to be
enlarged, and press [MENU/SET].
The assist screen is displayed, enlarging the area. (MF
Assist)

If you press [DISP.], the area to be enlarged will be reset
to the center.

Operate the manual ring to set the focus.
Rotate to A side:
Focuses on nearby subject
Rotate to B side:
Focuses on faraway subject
A Indicator for ¶ (infinity)
B MF Assist (enlarged screen)
C Peaking
D MF Guide
The in-focus portions will be highlighted. (Peaking)
