1. Once the USB connection is secure, open the 00096R1.xls file and select
Enable Macro. The Excel macro will execute and the status display will indicate
hardware identification, as shown in Figure 2-3.

2. Select Enable/Disable for CH0 or CH1 (Channel 0 and Channel 1, respectively).
3. Select PGA gain, ADC sampling rate and sampling buffer size for the strip-
chart display.
4. Click start to start acquisition, stop to stop acquisition. Reset to Clear buffer.
5. Adjust the digital potentiometer positions to select the differential amplifier gain
and trim the current sources for the local and external RTDs.
