2. Turn the ignition switch key to the
OFF position to stop the engine.
In the event that the engine does
not stop when the ignition switch
key is turned to the OFF position,
pull the emergency stop switch 
clip out of the emergency stop
switch by pulling the emergency
stop switch lanyard (p.60).
3. When the boat is not in use, 
remove and store the ignition
switch key and the emergency stop
switch clip and lanyard. If you are
using a portable fuel tank,
disconnect the fuel hose if you 
will be storing or transporting the
outboard motor.
