    1. HOW THE COMPACTSTEAM XL WORKS • The CompactSteam XL is an electrode humidifi er. It produces steam for if the humidifi er is in standby and does not produce steam for more humidifi cation by passing electric current through the water between than 3 days (72 hours), the water in the cylinder is automatically metal electrodes in the plastic steam generator cylinder.

    Another factor aff ecting cylinder life is the maximum production setting. A higher production rate will result in a shorter cylinder life. For this reason CompactSteam XL units are preset from the factory at 70%. Further reductions in Maximum Production will extend cylinder life.

INSTALLATION 3.1 Positioning Clearance Dimensions • The compactSteam XL unit is designed for wall-mounting; • to ensure correct steam distribution, position the humidifi er near the point of steam distribution steam; • make sure the humidifi er is vertical, leaving the minimum clearances (see Fig.3.a and Tab.

    3.3.3 Water Drain The CompactSteam XL requires a connection to a drain. The drain line may be routed out the back or bottom of the unit using the included angle fi tting. The drain line can be 1-1/4” PVC, CPVC or polypropylene.

    1. FUNZIONAMENTO COMPACTSTEAM • Il CompactSteam XL è un umidifi catore ad elettrodi. Il vapore è prodotto se l’umidifi catore è in stand-by e non produce vapore per più di 3 attraverso l’acqua contenuta nel cilindro interno (collegato alla rete idrica).

    Più la produzione di vapore è impostata su livelli elevati, più breve sarà la vIta del cilindro e viceversa. Per questo motivo, nei modelli CompactSteam XL, le impostazioni di fabbrica prevedono una produzione massima eff ettiva impostata al 70% della produzione massima nominale.
