Phase 2: Setting up with the Web
browser
The remainder of the setup process is performed through a Web browser on any
computer on your network. Use one of the standard browsers available (for
example, Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, versions 4.0 or
later) to do this; the browser must support HTML frames and JavaScripts. Once
the setup process is complete, the CacheRaQ 4 can be managed from any
computer on the network that has a browser.
To use a browser to set up the CacheRaQ 4, follow these steps:
1. Launch a standard Web browser on any computer connected to the network.
2. Enable JavaScript in your browser if you normally disable it.
3. Enter the IP address of the CacheRaQ 4 (shown on the LCD screen on the
front panel) into the URL field of your browser — for example:
