Replacing a Blade-Type Fuse

1. Disconnect the cable from the
vehicle battery's negative (–) ter-
minal.

2. Grasp the fuse's plastic end and
pull it out.

3. If the fuse is blown, replace it, Use
only a blade-type fuse with the
proper rating. The fuse must be
35 amps.
4. Grasp the new fuse's plastic end
and push it in.
5. Reconnect the cable to the vehi-
cle battery's negative (–) terminal.
