SETTING THE ROOM TEMPERATURE SET POINT

After selecting a mode (Heat, Cool, or Dry), press the "+" and "–" buttons to select the
desired room setpoint.A room setpoint can be selected between 61°F (16°C) and 86°F (30°C).
The unit will confirm signal receipt with a beep and the value of the room setpoint is displayed
on the remote controller and on the front panel LED display.
NOTE: In Cooling mode, if the room setpoint selected is higher than the room temperature,
the unit will not start.The same applies for the Heating mode if the selected room setpoint
is lower than the room temperature.
NOTE: The room setpoint can not be changed and no value will be displayed on the remote
controller in AUTO mode.
DISPLAYING SETPOINT, INDOOR OR
OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE ON FRONT PANEL:
The setpoint temperature, outdoor temperature or room temperature
can be displayed on the front panel. Only setpoint temperature is
displayed on the remote controller.
When the "TEMP" button is pushed once, the temperature
indicator (without thermometer)
that the setpoint temperature is displayed on the front panel.
When the "TEMP" button is pushed a second time, the display will
show an
icon with a thermometer inside a house.This indicates
that the room temperature is displayed on the front panel.
When the "TEMP" button is pushed a third time, the display will
show an
icon with a thermometer outside a house.This indicates
that the outdoor temperature is displayed on the front panel.
The room temperature and outdoor temperature will be displayed
for only 5 seconds before reverting back to displaying room setpoint.
SELECTING THE FAN SPEED
Pressing the FAN button allows selection of Auto, Low, Medium-low,
Medium, High, and Ultra High fan speeds. When indoor unit is first
powered on, the Auto fan mode is used as a default. Fan speeds
cannot be selected in Dry mode.
NOTE: When the unit is on, the indoor fan will run continuously
in cooling or heating. When in heating, there might be situations
where the fan will slow down or shut off to prevent cold blow.
