HDD: Indicates IDE channel activity. SAS/SATA drive and/or DVD-ROM drive
activity when flashing.
•
Power: Indicates power is being supplied to the system's power supply units.
This LED should normally be illuminated when the system is operating.

Drive Carrier LEDs
The SC113 chassis uses SAS/SATA drives.
SAS/SATA Drives
Each SAS/SATA drive carrier has two LEDs.
•
Green: When illuminated, this green LED on the front of the drive carrier indi-
cates drive activity. A connection to the backplane enables this LED to blink on
and off when that particular drive is being accessed.
•
Red: The red LED indicates a drive failure. If one of the drives fail, you should
be notified by your system management software.

Indication
System is on.
System is off and plugged in or 5V stand
by on.
Power supply internal temperature has
reached 63º Celsius and will be shut
down if the temperature reaches 70º
Celsius.
