Memory Configuration
Direct Rambus ™ signals are daisy-chained through each RDRAM
memory module, as shown in the figure below. Therefore, you must
always install a total of 2 Direct RDRAM and Continuation modules (as
example., one Direct RDRAM and one Continuation modules) in all two
RIMM slots to complete the memory subsystem, or otherwise the
motherboard main memory will not be functional. There is no restriction
on installing Direct RDRAM and Continuation modules in which RIMM
slots.
