3. Changing Temperature Units

• You can set the temperature unit using this item.
• Press the
up or down to select TEMP UNIT and push it in
to open the water temperature unit setting pull-down menu. Press the
to the left or right to select Centigrade or Fahrenheit.

4. Changing Speed Units

• You can set the vessel speed units using this item.
• Press the
up or down to select SPEED UNIT and push it in
to open the vessel speed unit setting pull-down menu. Press the
to the left or right to select KTS (knots), KPH (km/hour) or
MPH (mile/hour).

Calibration

• You can set a calibration value for each data using this item. The
calibration value is set to "0" on shipping from the factory. Set a
desired calibration value according to your operating circumstances.
• Press the
up or down to select CALIBRATION>> and push
it in to switch to the CALIBRATION menu.

1. Calibrate Temperature

• You can set a calibration value for the water temperature. The water
temperature readout will include this calibration value only when
"INT" is selected in "Selecting Temperature Input" p.71. When
"OFF" or "NMEA" is selected, this setting is ineffective.
• Press the
up or down to select CALIB TEMP and push it in
to open the water temperature calibration value setting pull-down
menu. Press the
calibration values range between -20.0 and +20.0 regardless of the
water temperature unit, and you can set a value in increments of 0.1
degrees.

2. Calibrate Speed

• You can set a calibration value for the vessel speed. The vessel speed
readout will include this calibration value only when "INT" is selected
in "Selecting Speed Input" p.72. When "OFF" or "NMEA" is
selected, this setting is ineffective.
• Press the
up or down to select CALIB SPEED and push it in
to open the VESSEL SPEED CALIBRATION VALUE setting pull-
down menu.
Press the
up or down to set a calibration value. The
calibration values range between -50% and +50% regardless of the
vessel speed unit, and you can set a value in increments of 1% of the
speed unit.
