Installation Menu

• This menu includes various settings required for installation, such as
the selection of the external data input method and unit, or the initial
setting of the GPS/DGPS antenna. After installing the FF50, use this
menu to make your settings.
• Turn the
up or down to select INSTALLATION>> and
push it in to switch to the INSTALLATION menu.

Simulator

• Using this item, you can activate or deactivate the simulator. When
activated, the simulator provides navigation information such as fish
echoes, vessel position, vessel speed, course using the dummy data
stored initially in the FF50. While the simulator is activated, you can
simulate almost all operations except the operation of the
INSTALLATION Menu.
• Press the
up or down to select SIMULATOR and push it in
to open the SIMULATOR setting pull-down menu. Press the
to the left or right to select ON or OFF. Select ON to start
the simulator. The SIMULATOR and messages appear on the screen.
Each value set during the operations of the simulator is maintained
after the simulator is turned off.

Selecting Temperature Input

• You can set the source of the data of water temperature using this
item. The FF50 can measure the water temperature using the water
temperature sensor integrated into the Transducer or input via the
data from the external NMEA source. The water temperature of the
selected source is displayed on the screen.
• Press the
up or down to select TEMP IN and push it in to
open the water temperature data Input destination setting pull-down
menu. Press the
NMEA. When INT is selected, the water temperature measured by
the water temperature sensor of the Transducer is displayed. When
NMEA is selected, the water temperature input from the external
water temperature gauge is displayed.
