For concrete and rock mounting material, allow for proper ventilation before mounting the touchpanel. There are two Mud Mount Kits. The MMK-V12 mud ring is an optional accessory for the BB-V12 back box and PMK-V12 pre-construction mounting kit. Pre-construction refers to framed walls prior to hanging drywall. The MMK-V12 consists of three parts. These parts produce an assembly that attaches to the BB-V12 or PMK-V12. The WMKM-V12 consists of six parts, three of which make up the MMK-V12, as well as a mounting plate, cutout template and mounting screws. - Page 10 Mud Mount Kits Crestron MMK-V12 & WMKM-V12 NOTE: The MMK-V12 has been optimized for mounting in 5/8” (15 mm) drywall. You may use 1/2” – 1” (12.5 – 25 mm) without issue. Thinner or thicker drywall will cause issues with the installation.
