CONFIGURING MODEMS FOR YOUR COUNTRY

Configuring Modems for Your Country
Different countries have different regulations for modem operation. Before using your modems, you must
configure them for the country in which you are using them. For Windows computers, use the Global Wizard to set
the country. For Linux computers, use AT Commands to set the country.

Installing the Global Wizard

The Global Wizard utility works with the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of following Windows operating systems:
Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012
Windows 7, 8, Vista, and XP
1.
Go to www.multitech.com/setup/product.go and select your model from the Product drop down list.
2.
Click Software.
3.
Click the Global Wizard link and run the Global Wizard installer.
4.
Follow the on screen prompts and click Finish when installation is complete.

Using the Global Wizard

To set your country:
1.
Run the Global Wizard, click Start > All Programs > Global Wizard > Global Wizard.
