Set up 5.1 multi-channel
recording
When you connect a Cable Box/Satellite
Receiver to the digital input of this recorder,
you can record multi-channel sound if broadcast
from the digital-channel, along with the video.
Note
5.1 multi-channel recording is only possible from
digital terrestrial tuner or audio signals received from
digital input.
To record with 5.1 multi-channel, ensure that the
record mode is set to HQ or SP.

Connect your Cable Box/ Satellite Receiver
to COAXIAL DIGITAL IN and EXT2-TO
VCR/SAT socket (see 'Connect audio
from Cable Box/Satellite Receiver' for
details).

Turn on the TV to the correct viewing
channel for this recorder.

Turn on the recorder and press
OPTIONS.

Select [ Settings ] > [ Recording ], then
press B.

Select [ DTT audio recording ] >
[ Multichannel ], then press OK.
