Assemble the clutch, in the reverse order of disassembly. Pay
attention to the following points.
● When inserting spacer on countershaft, apply a small
quantity of engine oil to both inside and outside of the
spacer.
● Tighten clutch sleeve hub nut using the special tool to
the specified torque.

Tightening torque
● Be sure to lock the nut by firmly bending the tongue
of the washer.
● Install drive plates and driven plates to the sleeve
hub.
● Insert push rod in the countshaft.
● Tighten clutch spring bolts diagonally.
Clutch release screw adjustment
● Loosen the lock nut, and turn in the release screw to
feel high resistance.
● From that position, turn out the release screw 1/4-1/2
turn, and tighten the lock nut.
Clutch sleeve hub holder
30-50N∙m(3.0-5.0kg∙m)
