● Remove the outer race fitted on the steering stem.
This can be done with a chisel.
● Dwaw out the two inner reces fitted to the top and
bottom ends of the head pipe.
INSPECTION
Inspect and check the removed parts for the following
abnormalities.
● Handlebars distortion.
● Handlebars clamp wear.
● Race wear and brinelling.
● Worn or damaged steel balls.
● Distortion of steering stem.
