If you have a problem
This appliance was inspected thoroughly and was in good operating
condition when it was shipped from the factory. If a minor problem
develops, it usually can be solved quite easily when the cause is identi-
fied. Therefore, this check list is provided for your convenience.
Problem: Cleaner won't run.
Possible Cause
1. Not firmly plugged in. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Plug unit in firmly.
2. No voltage in wall plug. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Check fuse or breaker.
3. Blown fuse or tripped breaker. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Replace fuse/reset breaker.
Problem: Cleaner won't pick up.
Possible Cause
1. Dirt cup full. ..............................................
2. Nozzle, dirt passageway clogged. .......... Remove obstruction.

4. Agitator brushes worn. ............................. Replace agitator.
5. Broken or worn belt. .................................
Problem: Dirt falling from cleaner.
Possible Cause
1. Flap on filter clogged or damaged. . . . . . . . . . Remove obstruction; replace
Lubrication
The motor and agitator bearings are permanently lubricated. The addition
of lubricant could cause damage. Therefore, do not lubricate the cleaner.
