White Paint Adjustment
You can fine-tune the white balance saved in
Memory A or Memory B.
1 Select [Main Menu] B [Camera Process] B
[White Balance] B [AWB Paint] and press
the Set button (R).
The White Paint Adjustment screen appears.

2 Adjust the R and B values.
Use the cross-shaped button (JK) to adjust R
value and (HI) to adjust B value.
3 Press the Set button (R).
Returns to the [White Balance] screen.

Selecting [AWB] will usually clear the White

Paint Adjustment value. But when [Main Menu]
B [Camera Process] B [White Balance] B
[Clear Paint After AWB] is set to "Off", values will
not be cleared even when [AWB] is selected.

display the AWB Paint Adjustment screen.

Automatic White Balance Mode (FAW:
Fulltime Auto White balance)
one of the three [WHT.BAL B/A/PRESET]
switches.
You can set the Full Auto White Balance

feature to either [A], [B], or [PRESET] in
[Camera Function] B [FAW].

"<FAW>" appears on the screen.

Set the [FULL AUTO] switch on the camera
0
recorder to "ON" to enter Automatic White
Balance mode. An appropriate white
balance is automatically adjusted according
to the color temperature of the lighting on the
object.
In this case, switching of the white balance

with the [WHT.BAL B/A/PRESET] switch is
disabled.
The accuracy of [FAW] is inferior to that of Auto
White Balance.
When the power of the camera recorder is
turned on with the [FAW] mode selected, it takes
about 15 seconds for the colors to stabilize.
When [Main Menu] B [Camera Function] B [User
Switch Set] B [AE Lock] is set to "AE/WB", the
white balance when the user button that is
assigned [AE Lock] is pressed can be fixed.

You can switch the white balance using the
[WHT.BAL B/A/PRESET] switch when [Camera
Function] B [FULL AUTO] B [White Balance] is
set to "SW Set".
