• Faces may not be detected depending on recording conditions.

• Make sure that you set [FACE DETECTION] to [ON] (the default setting) prior to recording, to search

Your camcorder selects a number of short scenes at random, puts them together, and plays
them back as a digest of your high definition image quality (HD) movies with music and
visual effects. You cannot record a scene and specify it as a highlight scene. Scenes selected for
Highlight Playback differ each time Highlight Playback is selected.
Select the recording media which contains the movie you want to play back before you start
the operation (p. 69).

To change the settings for Highlight Playback
After touching ~ in step 2, touch [HIGHLIGHT SET] before the Highlight Playback starts,
You can set following items.
• [PLAYBACK RANGE]
Set the range of movies to be played by selecting the from and to date, then touch [QRJ.
If no range is set, your camcorder plays the movies starting from those of the date displayed on the
VISUAL INDEX screen until the most recently recorded movie.
