    Installing the MERLIN Identifier System Connect one end of the modular cord into the MERLIN Identifier Display jack labeled “RS232” and the other end to the jack in the RJ11-to-DB9 adapter. Connect the DB9 adapter to the PC’s serial port, either COM1 or COM2.
