10. Tractor Unit

(1) Remove
Upper case unit according to then procedure
described in item 1.
Two nuts [1]
Tractor stay [2]
Ground contact spring [3]
Two platen holders [4]
Lift two tabs [5] of two platen holders for removal
from the frame.
Platen unit [6]
(2) Adjust
Gap between print head and platen.
Refer to item 1 of chapter 3.
(1) Remove
Upper case unit according to the procedure
described in item 1.
Stop ring [1]
(2) Move the platen gear [2] in the direction of the arrow.
(3) Remove
Stop ring [3]
Release lever [4]
Release lever spring [5]
Two nuts [6]
Two tractor bushings [7]
Lift up the tab [8] of the tractor bushing for
removal from the frame.
Tractor unit [9]
Caution in assembly:
Align the mark (
