4. Main Logic Board

(1) Remove
Upper case unit according to the procedure
described in item 1.
Stop ring [1]
(2) Move the platen gear [2] in the direction of the arrow.
(3) Move the release lever [3] in the direction of the
arrow.
(4) Remove
Stop ring [4]
Release lever [3]
Release lever spring [5]
Release gear [6]
Four tapping screws [7]
Connector cover [8]
Lift up the tab of the connector cover, and slide it
to the right for removal.
Head cable [9]
Three connectors [10]
Printer mechanism [11]
Caution in assembly:
Align the mark in the release lever [3] with the
mark on the release gear [6] to install the release
lever [3].
(1) Remove
Printer mechanism according to the procedure
described in item 3.
Two connectors [1]
Two screws [2]
Main logic board [3]
Push the three hooks [4] of the lower case unit to
remove the main logic board [3] from the two tabs
of the lower case unit.
