Starting a firmware update
Prerequisite:

The phone is connected to the Internet (i.e., connected to a router,

The phone is in idle status, i.e.: no calls are being made, there is no internal con-
nection, no handset has opened a menu on the base.
Starting the firmware update manually

In the Settings menu (

Scroll to Firmware Update.
PIN and confirm with è.
If a new version of the base firmware is available, message New firmware available
- Update? is displayed.

Press Yes to confirm.
Please note

The firmware update can take up to six minutes, depending on the quality of
your DSL connection.
u
During the update, the registered handsets temporarily lose their connec-
tion to the base.
Setting the automatic firmware update

In the Settings menu (

Scroll to Firmware Update.

If the function is activated, the base will check daily whether a new firmware ver-
sion is available. If this is the case, you will receive the message Start download?.

Press Yes to confirm.
If you answer the prompt with No, you will no longer be informed about this
firmware update. The message will not be displayed again until the next firmware
version is available. You can perform the firmware update manually (
Please note
If the phone is not connected to the Internet at the time the check for new
firmware is carried out (e.g., no router connection), then the check will be car-
ried out as soon as the phone is reconnected to the Internet.
