Enable SIM Security

When SIM security is enabled, you will be asked to enter your Admin Password
and SIM PIN before you can access the Internet.
By default SIM security is enabled for DNA SIM cards (and may be enabled for
other SIM cards). If SIM security is enabled, you will need the SIM PIN the first
time you use the mobile hotspot to access the Internet.
If you are using a DNA SIM card, the default PIN is 1234. If you have changed the
PIN on your DNA SIM or are using a SIM card from another provider, you will
need to know the PIN. If you do not know the PIN, contact DNA or the SIM card
service provider.
To retain SIM security each time you use your mobile hotspot to access the
Internet (after having powered it off), clear the check box beside Disable SIM
Security. (See page 17.)
If SIM security has been disabled, and you subsequently want to enable it:
1. On the Mobile Hotspot Homepage, log in as Administrator.
2. Click the Advanced Settings icon ( ).
3. Go to WAN > SIM.
4. Select Enable and enter the PIN in the pop-up window.
