Once the server is secured in the rack, you can connect the ethernet cables and power cord directly
to its front and back panels, respectively.
Gather the cables you will connect to the server. Make certain each cable has the proper connector
and that it is designed for use in a high-capacity server.
Label each cable so that you can locate a specific cable quickly.
Ethernet ports on the server are numbered 0 and 1. 0 is the primary ethernet port, and 1 is the
secondary.
Warning:
Because the server is being installed into a rack with other equipment, be
certain that the power used with the rack is designed to carry the electrical load of all of the
devices in the rack. Refer to
power requirements for this server.
