Expansions and upgrades
Upgrading the main memory
The system board supports up to 8 Gbyte of main memory. There are 4 slots
available for the main memory. The slots can be fitted with 1 Gbyte and 2 Gbyte
PC2-6400 DDR2 800 MHz (unbuffered) DIMM memory modules.
Additional accessible drives
There is one free 5.25-inch bay for an additional accessible drive. The first
(upper) bay already has a DVD drive.
Slots for expansion cards
The server can be flexibly expanded via four slots:
– One PCIe Gen2 x 8 slot
– One PCIe Gen2 x 4 (mech. x8) slot
– One PCIe Gen2 x 1 slot
– One PCI slot
Parallel interface for printers
As an option, a parallel interface can be provided for printers.
