94 7. Troubleshooting
Description
An attempt to save a new file which has the
same name as an existing file in the same
folder.
Invalid characters are used in padding.
Error MEF001 is detected.
An operation was attempted while the cover is
opened.
This message will appear when the end value
of the serialization cannot be reached based
on the input. For example, if the increment is
"2", the end value "9" cannot be reached.
If the power button is pressed, this message will
appear to confirm whether you want to swtich
off the printer.
This message will appear when converting
properties of tag or converting job media.
An attempt to cancel the PC connection mode
without a USB cable connection.
Action
To overwrite, press [OK].
To abort operation, press [CLOSE].
Note: The only valid characters that can be used in
padding are zero ("0") or a blank space (" "). For
more details, refer to the "H. To Add Serialization to
a Tag" section in "5. Advanced Functions".
Contact Brady Technical Support.
Close cover and try again.
Double-check the start, increment and end values.
For example, if the increment is "2", change the end
value to an even number such as "8" or "10".
Alternatively, change the increment value to an odd
number such that the end value "9" can be reached.
To power off, Press [OK].
To continue with printer operations, press [CLOSE].
To continue, press [OK].
To abort operation, press [CLOSE].
Go to PC connection mode. Check that the USB
cable is firmly connected or not damaged.
