5. Arm the desired track for recording.

We'll arm track 1 for recording (i.e. put it in record-ready mode).
1.
Press the SONAR V-STUDIO 100's [DISPLAY] button to switch to the control surface screen.
If a different screen is shown, press the [DISPLAY] button once again.

Make sure that Track1 is shown in the control surface screen.
If Track1 is not shown, press the SONAR V-STUDIO 100's track select button to make the screen indicate Track1.
Alternatively, you can click SONAR's track 1 icon.
3.
Press the SONAR V-STUDIO 100's [ARM] button.
The SONAR V-STUDIO 100's [ARM] button and SONAR's track 1 ARM button will both light, indicating that this track is
armed for recording.
You can also arm the track by clicking the ARM button for SONAR's track 1.
