If you're asked to restart SONAR, do so.

Did you connect the SONAR V-STUDIO 100 hardware before launching SONAR?
Is the interface driver installed correctly?
Refer to "Installing the SONAR V-STUDIO 100 Driver" (p. 7), and verify that the SONAR
V-STUDIO 100 driver is installed correctly.
Is the SONAR V-STUDIO 100 hardware correctly connected to your computer?
Is the SONAR V-STUDIO 100 hardware powered on?
If the screen indicates "Audio Driver Error", click [Use Anyway].
