Re-attach the the body onto the base by pressing it firmly onto the base. Install Batteries The 6008 requires 2AA batteries if the C-wire is not available in your furnace installation. Switch MODE switch to OFF and the FAN switch to AUTO. -

The batteries will last well over 1 year.
