Image Size
[Image Size] determines the size of the image file that is recorded when you take an image.
The larger the image size, the more detail will be reproduced when the image is printed on large-format paper. The smaller the image size, the more
images can be recorded.
1. MENU 1 [Image Size]
When [Aspect Ratio] is set to [3:2]
Image size
L: 20M 5472 × 3648 pixels
M: 10M 3888 × 2592 pixels
S: 5.0M 2736 × 1824 pixels
When [Aspect Ratio] is set to [16:9]
Image size
L: 17M 5472 × 3080 pixels
M: 7.5M 3648 × 2056 pixels
S: 4.2M 2720 × 1528 pixels
When [Aspect Ratio] is set to [4:3]
Image size
L: 18M 4864 × 3648 pixels
M: 10M 3648 × 2736 pixels
S: 5.0M 2592 × 1944 pixels
VGA 640 × 480 pixels
When [Aspect Ratio] is set to [1:1]
Image size
L: 13M 3648 × 3648 pixels
M: 6.5M 2544 × 2544 pixels
S: 3.7M 1920 × 1920 pixels
Notes
When [Quality] is set to [RAW], [Image Size] corresponds to L. The image size is not displayed on the screen.
When you print still images recorded at [16:9] aspect ratio, the edges may be cut off.
