Messages
If the following messages appear, follow the instructions.
Set Area/Date/Time.
Set the area, date, and time. If you have not used the camera for a long time, charge the internal rechargeable battery.
Unable to use memory card. Format?
The memory card was formatted on a computer and the file format was modified.
Select [Enter], then format the memory card. You can use the memory card again; however, all previous data on the memory card will be erased. It
may take some time to finish formatting.
If the message appears again after formatting, use a different memory card.
Memory Card Error
The inserted memory card cannot be used in the camera.
Formatting failed. Format the memory card again.
Reinsert memory card.
The inserted memory card cannot be used in the camera.
The memory card is damaged.
The terminal section of the memory card is dirty.
Memory card locked.
You are using a memory card with a write-protect switch, and the switch is set to the LOCK position. Set the switch to the recording position.
Processing...
When Long exposure noise reduction or High ISO noise reduction is underway, processing will occur for the same amount of time that the shutter
was open. You cannot do any further shooting during this time.
Unable to display.
Images recorded with other cameras or images modified using a computer may not be able to be displayed.
Unable to print.
You tried to mark RAW images with a DPOF mark.
Internal temp. high. Allow it to cool.
The camera has become hot because you have been shooting continuously.
Turn the power off. Cool the camera and wait until the camera is ready to shoot again.
Because you have been recording for a long time, the temperature inside the camera has increased to an unacceptable level. Stop recording.
Recording is unavailable in this movie format.
