Symptom
The Stratus 7
does not power
ON

Blown fuse, or the power cable is not properly connected .
• Check for a bad fuse and check power cable connection
The satellite antenna is not connected to the radio .
• Check the satellite antenna connection to the radio.
No satellite signal is being received .
• Check for obstacles over or around the satellite antenna.
• C hange the vehicle location to eliminate nearby obstacles
(bridges, overpasses, tress, buildings, etc .) .
The FM frequency contains static .
• L ocate a quiet FM frequency on your vehicle radio and
set the FM transmitter frequency of the Stratus 7 Radio
to match .
• I f using the PowerConnect Vehicle Dock AUDIO OUT
connector, check the cable connections .
The audio cables are not connected, or the FM radio is set
to the wrong frequency .
• C heck the audio cables at the Stratus 7 Radio and the
vehicle's audio system .
• T une the vehicle's FM radio to the same FM frequency the
Stratus 7 Radio's FM transmitter is tuned .
