4. Warning system

If outboard motor encounters an
1 abnor mal condition of fault, the
warning horn will emit a continuous
beep or intermittent short beeps
2
and the warning lamp (LED) will
synchronize with the horn and engine
speed will be limited (engine will not

be stopped).

will lead to an abnormal condition or
fault.

Location of warning horn and lamp
■ Warning horn
Located inside the remote control
for EP models. Located in the top
cowl for other models.
■ Warning lamp (LED)
Located on the front of bottom
cowl.
Note
Warning lamp for optional tachometer
will synchronize with the LED.
