Memory configuration modes
The RX900 S1 supports the following memory configuration modes:
"Memory mirroring" on page 30
"Hemisphere mode" on page 33
"Memory interleaving" on page 34
3.2.2.1
Memory mirroring
The mirroring mode is set by the system and depends on the CPUMEMR
configuration:
Intra-CPU memory mirroring for a 4 CPUMEMR configuration
Inter-CPU memory mirroring for 6 and 8 CPUMEMR configurations
In mirroring mode, the size of the memory modules must be the same within the
following groups of DIMM slots, see
DIMM# (1B, 1D, 1F, 1H)
DIMM# (1A, 1C, 1E, 1G)
DIMM# (2B, 2D, 2F, 2H)
DIMM# (2A, 2C, 2E, 2G)
