Select Connection Status from the Main Menu.

4.13 Rebooting the Hub

The Reboot operation reboots the ESP-2 serial hub. A reboot is usually required for
the following operations to take effect:
• Changing network address values
• Changing the RS-485 transfer mode
• Changing any configurable features
• Updating FLASH
To reboot:
1. From the Main Menu, select Reboot.
2. Click the Reboot button.
After the reboot completes, the web interface will try to reconnect to the hub. If this
fails, or if the web interface does not return within 30 seconds, direct your browser to
the ESP-2 serial hub IP address.
You may also reboot the ESP-2 hub using the configuration utility (see Rebooting the
Hub on page 38) or the RESET button on the front panel (see Resetting on page 9).

4.14 Reinitializing the Hub

The Initialize operation resets all configurable values to their factory defaults,
including the IP address and password.
To reinitialize:
1. Click Re-initialize from the Main Menu.
2. Click the Re-initialize button.
After the reinitialization completes, the web interface will try to reconnect to the hub,
using the predefined IP address (192.1.1.1). If this fails, or if the web interface does not
return within 30 seconds, direct your browser to the predefined IP address (192.1.1.1).

Initiating Server is establishing a connection.
Connected Server and ESP-2 hub are connected.
Terminated Connection has been dropped.
Number of days, hours, minutes and seconds the server has
been connected.
UDP time-out value; that is, the amount of time before a connection is
dropped if no heartbeat messages are received.
