If basic authentication is selected, the password is sent in plain text format; there can be potential risks of being intercepted.

It is recommended that you register with the safe100 to access the Network Camera from the Internet. In this page, you can set the exposure time and day/ night function. Exposure: ■ Auto The Network Camera automatically adjusts the iris and gain, but fixed shutter speed (1/30 s) in response to different environments.

Every single JPEG image transmitted guarantees the same image quality, which in turn comes at the expense of variable bandwidth usage. And because the media contents are a combination of JPEG images, no audio data is transmitted to the clients.
